HAVELSAN Strengthens Cooperations In Qatar

HAVELSAN senior management visited Qatar to review and evaluate the existing cooperation possibilities and ongoing projects. HAVELSAN delegation also paid a courtesy visit to Türkiye’s Ambassador to Doha Mr. Mehmet Mustafa Göksu to benefit from his valuable insights. Indeed, HAVELSAN is one of the leading Turkish companies signed important projects in Qatar in the past years.

Against this backdrop, at the IDEF'21 Fair held in Istanbul last August, an agreement with the Qatar-based company Barzan Maintenance Shield QTSP LLC was signed on the HAVELSAN AW-139 Simulator.

HAVELSAN, which has signed important projects in Qatar, delivered AW-139 helicopter simulator developed and produced for the Qatar Army in the past years. Against this backdrop, during this visit HAVELSAN held talks on different issues for export in the region.

At the IDEF'21 Fair held in Istanbul last August, an agreement with the Qatar-based company Barzan Maintenance Shield QTSP LLC was signed on the HAVELSAN AW-139 Simulator.

Within the scope of the agreement, on Full Mission Simulator (FMS), Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainer (FNPT), Rear Cabin Trainer (RCT), Tactical Control Center (TCC), Dibriefing System of AW-139 helicopter in Qatar Air Force in Doha, maintenance, repair and operation services are provided by HAVELSAN with duration of 36 months and an activity rate of 90%. A minimum of 100 hours of training per month is planned for each system.
