New Appointment In HAVELSAN’s General Management

In line with the relevant Board Decision, the position that is left open by Atalay was taken over by Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar, HAVELSAN’s Vice President for Training and Simulation Technologies, as the new General Manager. 

A ceremony was held at HAVELSAN’s corporate office due to the position change.

Delivering a speech in the ceremony, Atalay extended his thanks on behalf of the company to the staff for the value they have added. Stating that he was leaving his post after achieving many of HAVELSAN’s goals within 5 years-time and therefore was happy, Atalay said “I believe, HAVELSAN will achieve even a higher success from now on. Mr. Nacar has been working in HAVELSAN for 3 years. It is a great opportunity for HAVELSAN that a friend of ours, who knows HAVELSAN well and with whom we have planned many things together, takes over this post. 

Taking over the post from Atalay, Nacar stated that Ahmet Hamdi Atalay had invaluable contributions and instructions over the 3 years they worked together and added “With the courtesy of our high state officials, we will be aiming to hold the flag handed in by Mr. Atalay to even a higher position. We will work together and carry HAVELSAN even further. This is a take-over, which means we have important duties. We thank Mr. Atalay for his efforts and contributions. This company will never forget him”.
