At HAVELSAN, we steadily increase our R&D expenditures every year. In 2022, by carrying out over 100 R&D projects and exceeding 1 billion TL in R&D expenditures with more than 1400 R&D personnel across our three separate R&D Centers, two in Ankara and one in Istanbul, and in our TEKNOKENT office located in the Technology Development Zone we reached the highest R&D expenditure in HAVELSAN’s history and the highest R&D income our company has ever achieved.
We Work Together with Universities at All Stages of R&D Activities
We carry out extensive studies in the fields of University-Industry Cooperation and Technology Management with the aim of developing technology collaborations, strengthening the ecosystem and effective use of the technology developed/acquired within our company in order to continue to increase our success. We continue our cooperation activities with more than 50 universities.
We are among Türkiye's Locomotive Companies in R&D Investment.
In the R&D 250 survey organized annually by Turkishtime Magazine, we ranked 8th among the 250 companies with the highest R&D expenditure for 2022.
We carry out technological collaborations with ecosystem companies, universities and R&D centers.
Unique experience and interest have been gained in the development and execution of international projects such as HORIZON, EUREKA and other EU funded projects.
The number of patents and patent applications reached 91 and 230, respectively.
With HAVELSAN AI JETT BIGG, we have launched the first entrepreneur acceleration program of the Turkish Defense Industry.
We are successfully continuing HAVELSAN JET BIGG+, the first mentoring program of the Turkish Defense Industry for SMEs.
