Sniper Simulator

Initial training for sniper recruits should involve practicing aiming techniques in a controlled training environment before progressing to live ammunition exercises. Although training in a classroom environment without the use of ammunition is possible, these methods do not replicate the actual feeling of shooting, and the experience of using a scope cannot be fully gained through such simulations. In order to acquire the necessary skills, snipers need to shoot live bullets in ranges of at least 1 km². This makes the training expensive, and the shooting ranges require extensive safety measures.

We developed the HAVELSAN Sniper Simulator for snipers to acquire realistic shooting sensations and hone their scope usage experience in a secure environment with authentic training scenarios. This Sniper Training Simulator enables users to undergo scenario-based training in a controlled environment, helping to refine skills related to Distance Estimation and Wind Correction Training without the risks associated with live fire. The simulator includes features such as a mildot scope, enhancing the ballistic training experience while allowing recruits to familiarize themselves with their sniper rifles and practice sniper fire techniques.
