For the weapons, sensors, and navigation systems on submarines to work fully integrated, it is necessary to correctly perform their data integration and to circulate a single correct data throughout the entire combat system.
SUBSTAR which we designed as a distinctive product serving as the "heart" of the submarine, guarantees the receipt and distribution of diverse sensor and system data to the pertinent units. This ensures submarines navigate safely and carry out operational tasks without interruptions.
SUBSTAR records and stores all mission-critical data for over 50 days, enabling analysis of navigational safety and operational effectiveness, with the ability to review data on board or at shore. Featuring a redundant and expandable architecture, SUBSTAR guarantees service continuity and fault tolerance tailored for different types of submarines.
Additionally, it integrates with the HAVELSAN Submarine Automatic Performance Analysis System (HDOPERA) to measure and analyze the performance of combat systems, enhancing operational effectiveness and supporting informed decision-making. Since 2009, it has been employed as an information distribution system in the Turkish and foreign navies.
